In 1997, Michael Moore & Peter Tierney decided to open a Vanderbilt Beach beachfront restaurant that would celebrate the annual nesting habits of Loggerhead turtles. They named the restaurant, The Turtle Club. The peaceful venue also brings diners back regularly.
